Trondheim

We arrived in the city if Trondheim early afternoon. The cruise line provided transportation to the city center about a half mile from the port but we decided to stay on the ship as the cruise line arranged for a ship wide concert in the city center and we needed to be ready to board the bus at 6 PM. It was pretty quiet on the ship and the day was pretty pleasant so we just enjoyed a late lunch onboard instead of battling the 5PM buffet when people returned to get ready for the evening entertainment.

Given our room category we got to take the first bus to the beautiful Olavshallen Concert Hall where we were treated to a wonderful concert by Trondheim Solistene, a wold class string orchestra with guest folk music soloist Gjermund Larsen who has won numerous awards for his performance and music composition. The concert was phenominal.
