White Night Party - Panama
After traveling though the Panama Canal we arrived in Panama City in the afternoon and docked there overnight. It had been overcast most of the day but the sun came out just as we arrived.
This was the evening of the ship’s White Night party and it was held on the pool deck. The work that goes into transforming an entire deck for a party is pretty amazing.
Dinner was a buffet that included many local dishes prepared over charcoal fires. After dinner there was dancing with music provided by the ship’s band and singing by the ship’s performers, followed by an enjoyable performance of local musicians and dancers.
Tomorrow we have a small group excursion to Monkey Island and to an animal sanctuary.
